The sculpture is part of the Nós series, a set of works in which metal is explored from lines, twists and intertwinings that bring the sculpture closer to the drawing. The brutality of the material finds organic forms, creating a tension between rigidity and movement. In his practice, Rodrigo Sassi explores the limits of matter and the possibility of transforming it without erasing its resistances. The gesture builds, tensions and negotiates with what the material allows, giving rise to forms between force and delicacy.
