Estalo, from the EnTangled series, explores tensions that cross the relationship between body and technology. The bare wires refer to the possibility of shock, bringing desire, risk and sensitivity closer together. From these connections, wires and electronic devices integrate a field of contamination in which the organic and the synthetic are confused. The borders between these dimensions become unstable, opening space to imagine other possibilities of existence and futures that escape the usual norms and ways of understanding bodies and their relations with the world in contemporary times.
