oil and oily stick on linen
2026
In "nest", drawing and painting are confused. On oil, oily stick and linen sometimes apparent, lines and smudges overlap in a sum of gestures. When drawing on the paint, I also retreat it, opening furrows and revealing anterior layers. The image is built in this movement between adding and subtracting, in which each gesture modifies what came before.
