Soft Power is an "comfort object" created from Dakimakura‘s crumblings stamped with characters from pop culture, sometimes sexualized (Love Pillows). The title of the work refers to the concept of international relations of influence through symbolic means, such as culture and entertainment. On the pillowcase, the artist appears in two images: uniformed as an exhibition assembler and in a sexualized pose, with heart glasses and crochet shorts. The approximation of the records proposes a reflection on work, desire, representation and consumption of images.
