Qwerty, Tacos

The work is one of those that integrate the QWERTY series in which the artist reproduces, using a diversity of materials, the keyboard used in our typewriters, from typing to cell phones and computers. The name refers to the first 6 letters of the upper part of the keyboard, created in the 1870s to facilitate typing and adopted until today in much of the world.
In the works of the series, the artist uses elements that somehow relate to the floor, such as the tacos in this case, or other pieces of floor, earth and stones, in an intention to write starting from the ground, give a voice and listen to what the floor tells us.
In the process of carrying out this work, tacos found in a dumpster in the city of São Paulo were sanded and the letters of the alphabet were carved in low relief, as if an excavation were carried out for each of these meetings.
