Produced during his residency at Instituto Sacatar (2025), Siva e Raiz is a unique sculpture in hand-shaped terracotta clay, with low temperature burning and gilding intervention. In the work, the contrast of gold with clay traces a path that surrounds the body of the piece and overflows from the top. This flow symbolizes the vital sap and the strength of female ancestry, this matrix structure that generates, nourishes and sustains bodies and generations, just as the root sustains the tree and feeds its fruits.
