James Lisboa specializes in art auctions, as he not only has experience in the art trade but also represents the second generation of his family in the art industry, since then he has continued as an appraiser of large collections and, due to his relationship with investors and collectors, he has gained greater prominence in the Brazilian art market.

Over the past 38 years, he has conducted significant art auctions in the state of São Paulo, with particular prominence in recent years when he sold important collections of Brazilian art. In addition to being an auctioneer, he is responsible for the selection and evaluation of artworks.

James Lisboa has more than 2,000 works of art auctioned per year, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, furniture and engravings."

Throughout his career, works by renowned artists passed through his hands and are now available to the public in institutions and museums such as the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, Museu Oscar Niemeyer, Museu de Arte do Rio de Janeiro, Itaú Cultural and many other important collections.
