Between overlapping planes and colors that intersect, sitting by the side of the path builds a pause. The shapes seem to lean on each other, as if the time of the painting accompanied the breath of the observer. The layers reveal the patient gesture - the search for a balance between transparency and opacity, between figure and silence.
The title, taken from a verse by Belchior, reinforces this idea of waiting and crossing. There is a feeling of interrupted path on the screen, of presence that is held in the middle. Each color, when adding to the other, creates a contained music, a harmony that insinuates itself at the edges of the form.
