The figuration are soles of thin-toed shoes, which emerge vertical and diffuse. The diluted pigment runs and accumulates on irregular edges, and the soles gain weight from sculptural shapes, such as standing stones. Between chance and gesture, the painting shifts an object of everyday life to the territory of matter, where what is formed, what remains and what is erased are suspended.
