He participated in the exhibition "A Persistência da Forma", cured by Francesco Perrota-Bosch in the AM Galeria de São Paulo Itineerando then to AM Galeria Belo Horizonte.
Derived from the Rizoma (MAM São Paulo) and Fractal (Art Usina) installations, this work is part of the two-dimensional series. In it, Rodrigo Sassi investigates the passage between surface and volume, evoking modernist murals as the main reference. Molded in cement, the shapes reveal the contrast between the roughness of the material and the organic lightness of the contours of its composition. Unlike traditional murals where reliefs jump out of the surface, these sculptures are attached to it, standing out through the colors of the material and screws that visibly integrate the composition.
