The work participated in the launch of the series, ‘Little History of Desire and Missing‘ that took place during the week of ArtRio 2025.
"Coated de Sol" is part of my most recent series: Small History of Desire and Lack where I worked on the expansion of the word ‘fetish‘ in my research. fetish as representation and the object itself. The biblical allusion in the title operates as a double meaning Yellow leads us to think of the relentless star while the obscure folds bring the reference to Bataillie‘s basic materialism. The object that looks at you, the abyss that invites.
