The year is 2019, pre pandemic at Rua Major Sertório, downtown São Paulo, around 22:00 pm. The bucket, a banal element of the city, used to contain leftovers and leftovers, becomes here the protagonist of an almost performative gesture: combustion transforms the disposal into a spectacle. The work can be read as a visual commentary on the urban collapse, the environmental and social crisis, or simply as a raw record of that night, where fire illuminates the precariousness and brutal beauty of the metropolis.
