Individual exhibition "Ornamento é Crime", curated by José Augusto Ribeiro (Galeria Pilar, São Paulo, 2024).
The work comes from drawings/paintings on paper that had a certain gravity, in addition to the vertical axis of mirroring, present in all my research. As these drawings referred me to domestic elements (oratory, key rings, etc.), I had the idea of also exploring three-dimensional aspects. The use of aviamentos is related to significant memories for me, alluding to floats abandoned by the city, carnival costumes, etc. Light is another very important component, mainly due to my interest in the iridescence of materials.
