The work was on display in my last individual "Rehearsal for a Dune" at the Athena Gallery, 2023.

"Mar de Cabeceira is a series of works started in 2018. Starting from collecting sea water from different places, I deposit this salt water in acrylic boxes, I let them dry naturally. Salt crystals, previously diluted, invisible to the naked eye.
Through work, I am interested in issues such as temporalities, transformation, the transition of matter, the continuous disappearance of things for the emergence of others, impermanence, and an inexorable relationship with nature.
The salinity changes from place to place and the final printed drawing "in the box will never be the same.".
