The series "Quebranto", from which this work derives, is currently exhibited in the individual of the artist "Novas Natures", at the SESI Museum of Arts and Crafts, Belo Horizonte / MG.
The series "Quebranto" integrates the artist‘s most recent research in which threads of twisted paper, used both in the industry and in handicrafts, are repeatedly distorted, twisted and weaved in different types of ties, generating shapes that resemble branches and leaves. In the case of "breaking", the work consists of long sheets created with this material, tied in a beam that resembles the amulets of herbs used to protect the domestic environment against spells and evil eyes.
